Donut Horn #1

Donut Horn #1 Dimensions: 40” x 68” x 6’
Material: Steel

The Donut Horn #1 sculpture by Karl Geckler is an impressive large-scale steel piece, measuring nearly 6 feet wide. Part of the Donut Studies series, this sculpture explores the interplay between geometric form and industrial materials. The unique composition consists of steel elements that can be reconfigured back into a full donut shape. Thus, offering a fascinating modular aspect to the artwork.

The exterior of the sculpture features a finely brushed, satin-type finish. A feature that enhances the raw beauty of the steel. Additionally, the interior is painted black, creating a bold contrast that adds depth and visual intrigue. Lastly, the sculpture is sealed to prevent rust and oxidation.

Currently, the sculpture is welded to a steel pin, which is affixed to a sturdy ¼” steel plate for support. However, Karl Geckler offers the flexibility to collaborate with buyers to create a custom base that better suits their space and aesthetic preferences. Additional photos and design options are available upon request.

With dimensions of 40” x 68” x 6’, the Donut Horn 1 commands attention in any setting. Ultimately serving as a striking focal point that blends industrial strength with artistic elegance.
