The sculpture by Karl Geckler is a one-of-a-kind piece that tells a story of nature, time, and craftsmanship. The top piece of structure is truly unique. After spending years in Lake Erie this block of oak has rounded corners. It could be placed on a different custom base if needed but I thought it worked with the weathered timber. This sculpture is looking for a home in a cool hotel lobby.

Designed with versatility in mind, the sculpture can be customized to suit different environments. I would recommend a steel plate at the bottom with a steel pin for stability (it is top heavy) If it were to be displayed like this we would need to fix the top piece of the material to the timber. I am waiting to drill a hole in that special piece until someone purchases.
